Light:  Partly Cloudy

Description of the Bird

4 birds were observed feeding. Brownish-red chests. No calls observed. Seemed to be adults, but not 100% sure.

Similar Species Discussion

I thought maybe some kind of sandpiper, but the chest was too brown/red. The bill wasn't curved enough for a curlew.

Previous Experience

I have completed wildlife surveys throughout Colorado, and for the last 3 years have encountered shorebirds.
