Description of the Bird
Originally spotted and photographed by Todd Miller. He thought it might be a male Yellow-rumped Warbler, but when reviewing his photos, he got excited because he didn't know what it was. I looked at the photo and identified it as a male Magnolia Warber. We searched for the bird and shortly thereafter it popped up in some willows near the creek. Our entire group, except one, got to see it.
