Description of the Bird
Matthew and Amy Rice (Ohio) and I watched this bird forage in a ponderosa pine. It initially struck us as relatively large for a warbler and slow moving.
Resources Used
Sibley and Nat Geo guides. Also showed photo to Scott Rashid and to Jeff Gordon of the ABA.
Previous Experience
A later review of eBird records suggest this is roughly the 5th August record for Colorado and the earliest by several weeks.
