Description of the Bird
Feeding under my bird feeder. Used curious jumping/scratching under feeder to find seeds. Third or fourth time I've seen him. Black back with white banding. Orange breast and long tail. Definitely NOT a robin.
Similar Species Discussion
House finches and chickadees are only common visitors-a few Juncos but not common for last few months.
