Description of the Bird
Briefly, this was a large warbler with a dark rufous face and crown, chin, throat, upper breast contrasting with white lower breast and belly. Two very prominent whitish wingbars. Buff patch just behind the auriculars and crown. Broad base to the bill and seemingly long bill.
Behaviors: Sluggish forager, usually on larger limbs and horizonal twigs but also foraging in willows with catkins. Did not seem to select miller moths but instead smaller insects, even though it is described as a caterpillar specialist.
Call: song very high pitched, just audible to me, a rising zeezeezeezee.
Plumage: breeding

Previous Experience
I've seen a few, mostly in Panama, a few in the east and one other one here in CO at CBR and later in the day another in ELP county.
